Porno Apocalypse by Christopher Brown - Horror - A horror story about a group of adult filmmakers who go to the country to shoot the first "Porror" movie and a happy nuclear family  that encounter the ultimate evil.  The two stories are told separately, the  porn filmmakers being a B movie with T & A, gallons of blood and violence  that is more funny than scary.  The nuclear family's story is more  atmospheric and genuinely goes for scares and a real sense of horror.  In  the last act the main protagonists unite to battle the earth itself.  Think  an exploitation film combined with the new Asian wave of horror and you're  kinda close. - pdf, format 8)

Chris, I could not finish this script due to numerous problems in it, the biggest one dealing with your lack of knowledge of the porn industry.  If you'd like me to go into detail, please read and comment on someone's script.

I just scanned through most of this, but - it all just seemed pretty unbelievable to me.  But was an exploitation film, a little bit, but I still dont think that means it has to be really , really stupid.  Hey, but that's just what I think.

I just read Porno Apocalypse. I liked half of it, and disliked half of it, so I'm going to break it down for you.

What I liked:
I loved B-Movies and exploitation films so I had to read this. I liked the title Porno Apocalypse. It just screams B-Movie.
The script starts out politically incorrect and laugh out loud funny. I loved the interaction between Carl and Samantha at the beginning, especially when Carl can't get it up.
Sid cracks me up. He's so crazy. He's nice to Ron one minute, and the next minute he's biting Ron's head up. There should've been more time spent with that character.
I laughed out loud when Caroline mentions the enema kit and says she won't eat anyone's ass unless they've had an enema.
The scenes with the porn crew are definately the best and fun. The part where Jack "cums" is gross and I loved it since I have sick sense of humor.
Some of the gore is intense.

Now what I didn't like:
The story is too preachy in the beginning with Samantha saying that Carl being gay goes against God. It doesn't make sense that a porn star would be concerned with what God and Jesus thinks.
Some of the characters were too homophobic. Again, I don't think that porn stars would care if someone is gay. They have no room to judge since they are having sex for money.
I noticed some spelling & grammer mistakes. For example, it's spelled practicing, not practising.
The character of Jeff is an asshole. He's so mean to the production assistants.
Some of the death scenes were too quick and not detailed enough.
The scenes with the family slow down the story. They were boring. I kept wishing that the story would get back to the porn crew.
I started getting bored toward the end of the script. And the ending felt rushed, but I really didn't mind since I was getting bored.

Overall, Porno Apocalypse isn't a complete disaster, but it isn't really good either. I'd give it **1/2 out of *****.
