ok i live in a small town in norway right? nothing ever happens. then this film crew comes in a month ago and are shooting an entire film here! and everyone in town could be in it like in the backround and such. this film is gonna be official soon. as soon as they sell it. and they will.

today was the premiere. and i was in the first viewing. in fact me and my friend tommy had been there for a long time and talked to the people setting it all up so when the time came to start they got us all to leave and since we were the last to leave we were the first to enter. they had a red carpet and eveything! the movie was great just so you know! and it was so weird to see entire scenes shot at a kiosk where we usually just hang out everyday anyway.

after the film was over me and tommy hung around all day talking to the actors and the director. we became friends. tommy even borrowed some films to the director which he wanted to see. and we told him about our work and what we had written and made. this was his first film but after seeing that film i'm telling you: he's going places! but he has no hollywood ambitions and i admire that. he says that he'll shoot one film a year in the part of norway where i live and if we wanted to be a part of it we should sign up on the website. i'm gonna do it! and at the end of the night me and tommy got to see the film again for free up on the balcony with the director! after we saw it that time i told him that i didn't like how he edited the ending and he actually listened to what i said and i also think that he'll change it to the way i said. because i really think it works better the way i said and he agreed with me! and at the end of the night he said that we were in the boat now and that next times we'll get bigger jobs on his movie. I CAN'T FU*KING WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this guy could be the new Harald Zwart.

the guy in the white sweater is the director.

Well done. I hope it pays off for you. It's all about getting connected and staying that way.

And I had no idea you were from Norway...

What does "Hvor du vil helst jobbe?" mean?
Posted by: Alfred Hitchcock, April 8th, 2006, 6:08pm; Reply: 5
"where do you wanna work?" behind the camera, in front of it or other.

i chose other and i explained why: because i can do both but i'm probably best behind it.

Just because you don't speak any Scandinavian languages doesn't mean I've lost it.

I know some Swedish due to my dealings with 4 Swedish guys and a musical called Ron and Julie that was presented at a college cafe (or so I understood it) in Stockholm. I actually wrote music to Swedish lyrics on one song.

So at the very least, I understood what Tomson said last. And personally, there's nothing unfortunate about the wisdom that only years can provide.

haha

I love Norway for the fact that it is the birthplace and the country that gave us the beautiful Natassia Malthe.  What an amazing woman.

And I love Europe, too.  The most beautiful women in the world in my opinion.

Oh and Hitchcock, Tomson is a married woman.  So I don't think dude is an appropriate way to address her.

We had our family reunion in Norway about ten years ago. I didn't get to go. :( The old family home built in 1800s?(or before) is still beautiful and still home to some of my relatives. "The Skyberg Farm".

And back to you... Hooray! Great news!  :)
