This is a poem that I wrote and am using in a script that I'm writing. It's introduced in pieces, and then, in the third act,  read whole.

Beyond Heaven

By day
I stay
entombed
within the self

So elusive
So vague
So f***ing narcissistic

Cryptic in casket
basket should be weaved

Heave blood, bless mary
mother of my desire

Fire teases,
thoughts of heaven
hurt.

Flirt with faith,
filth, lies

in heaven
nothing dies

and I,
I must die.

Anyway, I enjoy poetry, especially Plath... and, of course, Poe. I also Like Bukowski.

I really liked this poem. It was very different. Keep 'em coming.

Good. It's very short, but I can see it being recited in a film with a Lovecraftian feel to it. I love that kinda stuff! I'd like to read the screenplay when it is posted.
