I'm not sure if there's a thread for this already but some of my posts keep disappearing and I'm not sure whether it's a glitch or maybe I've said something wrong (although, pretty sure I haven't!) If anyone could clear it up for me, it'd be much appreciated.

What were the posts? Usually useless, pointless and childish posts get deleted unless nobody catches them or just don't care after a few hundred.

Also, when threads and discussions get cut down innocent bystanders become victim to trimming because somebody couldn't take an honest review and got all defensive.

Could be many reasons or it could be a glitch.

I deleted one this morning in which you essentially said, "Hey -- I am going to read this!"

Is that what you are asking about?

I delete most of those when I see them, as they really add nothing useful for the author -- particularly when half the time the poster does not follow through anyway -- not saying you won't -- just saying.

Just read it already, you know?  Why post to say you are going to read something at some point in the future?

Please read and review the rules here:

It should give you a clue as to why a post was deleted.  Note, a lot of posts get deleted.  We can not remember each and every post that is deleted.  So, if you are looking for a specific reason, you probably won't get it.  Don't take it personally.
