Director Danny Boyle (28 Days Later) has started on another film which is being released in March called "Sunshine". It's about 50 years into the future when Earth's gone into a solar winter. A team of scientists try to re-ignite the sun, but apparently also have to battle each other to stay sane.

This movie sounds sort of like The Core, but a little more interesting. And since it's being filmed in the U.K. it has probably already been released there, or is going to in a while. So if anyone from the U.K. has seen this movie, what did you think about it?

Personally I think this movie is going to be good, though a lot of people are going to be having the dispute on whether this will really happen in 50 years and how unrealistic it might be/is.

I watched the trailer for this film about a month ago. Meant to post about it, but never got around to it. I’m glad someone did. Anyway, people should really check out the site, not your typical movie website.

Regarding the release date; looks like we get to see it before everyone else.

I'm a fan of Danny Boyle and Cillian Murphey for that matter, I enjoyed 28 Days Later a lot, but the premise of this sounds pretty dumb. Maybe if it were a few million years in the future, MAYBE it would be a little more plausible, but I will be very astonished if this is a good or even dcent movie. It seems like it's just an excuse to play around with special effects and stuff.
