The Last Round by Lawrence Watson - Drama, Legal Drama, Mystery - In 1935 Pittsburgh, a slick trial lawyer defends a small time boxer on a murder charge against an iconic prosecutor who hasn't tried a case in many years. Also involved in the mix are a lonely and bitter journalist, as well as the boxer's loyal girlfriend. Is the gentle and somewhat dim fighter guilty of a society girl's murder? 90 pages - rtf, format 8)

This script is actually pretty good. I think you demonstrated a solid command of legal rules and procedure. As a lawyer, I though most of it sounds authentic. Did you perform some legal research before you wrote this or are you in the profession as well?

I ask because some of your courtroom dialogue is very specific and not easily recognized by a laymen. Regardless, I think you did a good job with that.

yulestar, do you realize you just commented on a script that almost 8 years old, was never once reviewed by anyone, and came from a writer with a total of 36 posts?

You can read and comment on anything you choose to, obviously, but if you think this writer is going to jump in here all of a sudden and respond to you, I think you're missing something.
