Hey all! Mark here. 21 from Scotland! Just joined up. Been writing scripts since I was around 14. Started off mainly on a Guy Ritchie type vibe writing movies similiar to "Snatch" though they were more rip-offs than original ideas lol. When I turned 16 I seemed to change into horror and stayed here every since. Last year was a nightmare, having wrote approx. 54 scripts my computer decided to crash and die on me (with no backups of my scripts :'( :'( ). I lost EVERYTHING I had ever worked on apart from notes e.t.c which I jot down on paper. Learned the hard way of backing everything up! So finally going to start writing again after a small hiatus. Look forward to getting to know you all!!

Hey, welcome to the boards, Mark.

That sucks about your comp crashing. Also reminded me I gotta do some backing up of my own, so thanks for the reminder. ;)

Good luck with the writing. Keep in mind, it's give and take here. Reading other people's scripts will not only give you a good guide in your own writing, but it's also the best way to encourage others to read your stuff.

You'll have fun here. It's a good bunch.

Right there is probably your best bet in finding decent, well-written scripts to start with.

Welcome Mark.

Gosh that's awful to hear about you losing all your work.  On a different group I heard of a young lady who had all of her work destroyed by her boyfriend during a terrible break up.

How anyone could do that is beyond me.  The thing is, she had hard copies as well and I think he burned them.

Nothing can take away the work you did though.  It's made you who you are today.
