When the second Jackass film came out, Johnny Knoxville told press that they still had plans to shoot more footage. The Jackass crew also claimed to have over forty minutes of unused scenes from Number Two, which they said was more than good enough to be featured in the first film.

Nothing had been heard about another installment until yesterday, when /Film reported that a new film is being covertly film in Los Angeles. Bam Margera confirmed this today on the Howard Stern Show. Apparently the Don Vito tooth pull scene which was shown in the television ads but cut from the theatrical version will be one of the cut segments featured in the new release.

Jackass 2.5 is currently scheduled to hit DVD this Christmas.
