Insomnifest

For the horror fans out there this is well worth checking out, from the 11th to the 24th February they will be showcasing 12 new horror movies from around the world exclusively online and only $5 per film. I imagine we will start to see a lot more online film festivals in the future, sounds a smart idea.

** Just a thought but how many scripts on SS are produced? It might be a good idea at some point later in the year to try and have a Simply Scripts short film festival or something.... Anyway just an idea that occurred to me

Five dollars a film is kind of steep, don't you think?  To watch a movie on-line?  I've gone to film festivals where it's twenty bucks for the entire day.

I was just about ready to agree with you, until I saw a small shred of awesomeness...

Gutterballs.

This is a neat idea... although I do agree that 5 pops a movie is too high. I watched the trailer for Gutterballs and it looks... amazing...

Gutterballs could be interesting. (Ryan) Nicholson's last movie (Live Feed) could've been a lot better but had a lot of potential and the gore factor was quite high. Judging from the trailer, Gutterballs looks a lot like Live Feed, bad acting, neon lights, and all. Could go either way. I think I'll wait to see it though. $5 to watch a cheap horror movie on your computer screen just ain't worth it.

Sorority Babes in the Slimeball Bowl-O-Rama is probably a better movie.
