The fact that Lionsgate is remaking Conan may not be the biggest surprise of the year, but the person that Lionsgate is seriously considering putting in the directors chair is!

I dunno, this could work. Maybe.

At least Zombie is an interesting filmmaker, if not necessarily a good one.

I can think of about ten directors who would be worse. Ratner, anyone?

From what I've read elsewhere, it looks like there are still several filmmakers in talks for the next Conan film. Personally, I doubt Zombie will helm this (there's no rednecks or trailer parks in Cimmeria).

I don't know Jordan... that seems a little to kid-friendly to be a Rob Zombie movie.
