"Recently there was rumor going around that Wes Craven’s next project was going to be a film called “25/8";. Today Variety confirmed that bit of news and gave us some more details on what exactly to expect. The film unveils a signature villain, a serial killer who turns up 15 years after his purported death, to kill the seven children born on that fateful night. Some casting news has come out

Henry Lee Hopper, (Dennis Hopper's Son) as [ADAM "BUG" HELLER] Age 15, he's a likeable, attractive high school boy, the "picture of innocent wonder,"  He only knows that he's one of the "Riverdale Seven," a group of youngsters, all born on the same evening, whose deaths at the hands of a vengeful slayer have been foretold.

Denzel Whitaker (from The Great Debaters) as [JEROME BROWN] Another of the Riverdale Seven, this African-American teen, age 15, is also blind. That doesn't stop him from being one of the most waggish and mischievous personalities at the school.

Shareeka Epps as [CHANDELLE BROWN] Jerome's sister, and one of Fang's best friends, this striking 18 year old African American girl is something of a bad girl, but she has the voice of an angel.

Emily Meade as [FANG, AKA LEAH] Age 19, this gorgeous, edgy high school senior is the undisputed queen of her domain. She calls the shots on all the cruel pranks and underhanded maneuvers at her school. A beauty with "feral charisma," she also has a surprising connection to Bug, the particular butt of her cruelty.

Not too jazzed on this one - Craven makes one interesting, if not actually good, movie per decade lol....he might have gotten his shot in the 00's with Red Eye.

Plus the teen cast sinks it for me. The teen scream things have run their course for me.
