Hey, so I got my script Tall Tales made by Joseph Rohrs, a film student at Regent University. The resolution isn't optimal but you can check it out here:

I'm really happy with it and love the short animations in the middle of it.

Haha,

That was really good. You're right, the animations worked great.

Congrats TJ.

Cheers

Hey TJ

How can i forget this tale, my God. It's funnier now than the script. I love the animation and then the line: "let me introduce you to the forefathers". It came to me. What if the car got stucked there rather than run? That would even be funnier.
But overall congrats on getting this made.

I thought this was pretty well done, and translated nicely to the screen.  The animation added a nice pop to it, bit my favorite part si when he went off on the tangent, shouting gibberish.

Nicely done.

Hey,

That was pretty good. I regret not reading it before hand. Really entertaining monologue and I thought the ending was cute. Well done.

Also, that guy and kid were surprisingly good. Kudos to them. I thought the lighting left a little something to be desired but besides that it's pretty well put together.

congratulations,

Congrats, TJ,

I haven't had an opportunity to view the short just yet, but I will watch it as soon as possible. It's great to have your script not only produced, but developed into a product you can be proud of. Glad to hear you're happy with it.

EDIT: Just saw the short film. That was great. I thought that the animations added just enough art to the dialogue. Terrific monologue; in fact, do you mind if my sibling uses it in a performance drama competition? It's really fantastic material.

I'm sad i'm not able to read the script. But the short was really good. Alotta laughs. Love the animation as well.

Congrats!

Congratulations T.J, just watched the short and it's really well made. Your main character's acting is great and I really liked the way you ended it with the little girl. Well done.

I remember reading this one last year. Good stuff. I have to say it translated magnificently to film. The script was a lot of fun but I think this had a lot of things you can't really put on paper. Namely, the acting. For a student film, I'm really impressed. This guy enhanced the dialogue loads. The animation was fun too. Everything together made it seem like there was a lot more going on then just a guy sitting in his car talking to his daughter. Not that that's all the script was but you get the idea.

Anyway, good script, good film. Second I've seen based on resident materia. Congrats, T.J.!

That was pretty good, TJ.  I thought the child like animations were appropriate images for the absurd tale he was preparing for his wife. Are there any plans for it to be entered into short film comps?

That's sweet, TJ.  The acting was much, much better than what I thought it would be (even the child was better than most child actors I've seen).  It had a great reveal, but, unfortunately, I read the script and knew what was coming up so I couldn't fully enjoy it.  And those animations were awesome.

Great stuff.  I can't wait to see what other scripts get filmed.

Hi all,

Yeah I was really impressed with the acting for a student film. Also the use of music.

Thanks for watching!
