What a nice surprise this was, a chilling independent film that's on DVD and Movies On Demand on some cable systems.

In Los Angeles, a young man says goodbye to his girlfriend as she drives to work, leaving him at home, when shortly the news breaks of several "dirty bombs" detonating all over the city, sending LA into a panic. Soon the man finds himself quarantined inside his home as toxic poison ash from the bombs fill the air around LA...and his infected girlfriend finds her way home, but he can't let her in...she's infected.

I really enjoyed the movie, the sense of confusion, dread, and the ending is one I didn't see coming. Good script, taut direction and good performances.

Yeah, this is a great little movie.

Would definitely recommend it.

Gorak was able to create a really claustrophobic film. Definitely thought the direction was very good. Be interested to see what he does in the future.

Yeah, great film.  Definitely a lot to learn from that film about writing to budget -- it's a very large-scale story and yet a very manageable script.
