It looks like a Zombie movie from what I can see in the trailer. Not having seen the original movie that this is based on, a Spanish flick called [REC], I can't comment on whether it stays true to that film, but the camera work here suggests somebody were a little too inspired by Cloverfield. Or maybe it's the other way around.

I remember seeing the trailer for this and thinking it looked horrible. The production values, the acting, the cheesy and completely redundant voice-over. Everything looked sub-par.
I haven't seen the original though, but I hear it's pretty good.

The trailer for Quarantined looks bad. It's like the [Rec] trailer except in English and with American actors. Personally, I don't want to see it. Actually, I do, because I like zombie movies, but I've been looking EVERYWHERE to try and find the original because it looks hella tight. I've looked at Best Buy and Amazon. Nothing. Then I tired eBay, and they have it, but I don't have a PayPal account and they only want people with PayPal to buy it...I think that's how they want it.
Anyway, I'm sure that once this movie comes close to hitting theaters (is it going to theaters?) the original [Rec] will come out on DVD here and I know I'll be getting it. Hopefully they might have Quarantined movie tickets along with it so I don't have to spend 9 dollars on this movie.

You can preorder 'REC' on Amazon UK but it's not released until 4 August 2008.
