Hey guys,
I'm really new to all of this (1 post!).   I bought a simple HG-10 Canon Camcorder to record personal family events but also try out some home movie making.

I got my first taste of it recently helping the neighbor kid do a Music Video for a class project.   It was a fun experience and I'd like to try more.

I have 4 sons (various ages from 6 to 15) that I would like to try and make a movie short (10-20 minutes, I guess).   Plus, various neighborhood kids, parents that probably would chip in.  I thought it would be cute to have the kids acting out the parts though.

I'm not sure if this place is too advance or not.  I spent a few hours last night reading through a few of the short screenplays posted but felt lost.

Is this a good place to find something simple?   Even a good concept, I probably could work with to simpifly.

Here is a link to my best reviewed short, 'The Cure'.

It may be a bit to mature though...

these talented screenwriters can write about anything for any length. You came to the right place. Sadly, all my stuff is too over the edge, but I'm sure there are other people here.
