Cleveland is getting his own show.

Looks like it's going in a completely different direction, moving Cleveland from Quahog to Stoolbend, Va and introducing an all new cast of characters.

I wouldn't have guessed Cleveland was a strong enough character to warrant his own show, but there you go. If it's going in a new direction than Family Guy then it should be a pretty interesting watch. Let's just hope MacFarlane isn't spreading himself too thin with three shows now.

Something tells me this is going to end up being a spoof off the Jeffersons or some other show along those lines considering most of Family Guy's jokes consist of old TV shows that most of McFarlane's fanbase has never heard of. If that's the case, I think this could end up being something relatively fresh. Otherwise, "spin off" is an ugly phrase. I'd hate to see a second Family Guy taking up air time.

cleveland? YES!

this sounds like a great idea right now but i know deep down a spin-off would ruin cleveland's hilarity for me, he's mainly funny for his random appearances with his funny monotone lines and i think his own show would really wear out the funniness!
