The TV spots that I've been seeing the past few days have completely thrown me off since I've never heard of this film, so I looked it up online and was blown away by the trailer.  A trailer hasn't impressed me as much as this one did in years.

Info can be found here: http://www.hancock-movie.com/

Will Smith as the title character reminds me of a superhero version of John McClane.  My interest is definitely peaked.

Wow, great find, Greg.  How on earth is this one below the radar?  It sure looks like a franchise in the making, doesn't it?

File this one under, "wish I'd thought of that..."

IMDb has been pimping this movie for months.  Based on everything I've read and/or seen, that trailer only covers a small portion of the plot.

Anybody else catch the Wilhelm scream?

I'm not much into comedies, but I'm aching to see this one since the moment I saw the first teaser.

Excellent premise. No wonder they managed to attach Will Smith.

Looks like Mr. Smith has yet another winner on his hands.

I've never been a really big Will Smith fan and I'm getting a little tired of superhero movies popping up all over the place. Having said that, I love Jason Bateman and this does have an interesting take on familiar material. Plus, any superhero who doesn't have any compunction about tossing obnoxious kids hundreds of feet in the air is a superhero I wanna get to know better. I'll catch it in theatres, but I'm not expecting a masterpiece here.

I saw the trailer for this when I went to see Iron Man the other week. Looks really good, will be off to see it when it comes out.

When's Will Smith doing "Fresh Prince of Belair The Movie: Carlton's Revenge!"?

I saw the trailer too at an Iron Man showing.  I like Will Smith's comedies but he does seem to own the screen in his films, if you know what I mean.  Other characters seem to be there only to provide second fiddle to Smith.  Hope this is good though as the trailer looked to have potential, hope the best bits haven't already been screened.
