Last night, I finally got to see, "The Life Before Her Eyes" a movie I've been excited for since the previews, but unfortunately the release was very limited which was surprising since it starred Evan Rachel Wood and Uma Thurman pretty known names, but what can you do! Anyways, the movie follows Diana, and flashes through her teen years and her adult years surrounding a school shooting. It's hard to explain the movies plot because it is a confusing movie up until the end and I don't want to give anything away, So i'll leave it like that. I really enjoyed this movie, the acting from Thurman and Evan were really good, I thought the dialogue was really well written and though I spotted a few flaws, this movie was very well thought out and the end result will leave you thinking about this movie for awhile, it's disturbing when it wants to be but also inspirational and quite a thinker when you analyze it. I really enjoyed watching Diana's character through her teen years and the subplots that surround the shooting. Overall, I really liked this movie and I suggest it for anyone looking for a deep, moving movie! Just keep with the movie because at times I know a lot of people are going to be confused or frustrated with t he constant flashbacks but that's what the movie is!
