I noticed that some scripts have the word new next to the title and some don't even when they were posted on the same date. What's with that?

It's NEW if you haven't looked at it yet. Once you have looked at it, it is no longer NEW.

I think it just means there are new comments that 'you' haven't read yet. If someone comments on a script from last year that would have a 'new' next to it, until you click on it.

Oh, okay. And here I was thinking I'd uncovered some major discrepancy that only I was sharp enough to have noticed. (insert blushing cheeks smiley here)
