Looking down in the empty bottle once filled with soothing smiles, I'm thinking,

Staring at that beautiful chrome painkiller in my hand, I'm thinking,
maybe Kurt was right
maybe this .45 is the answer
maybe it will fit in my mouth

And then I look up at Jesus on his upside down cross and I'm thinking,
nah, it'll fit better in his
