Actually I think that's a honeydew melon-- LOL. I know these things because, Merlin, my cat, LOVES to eat cantaloupe, but he's not as keen on honeydew-- which are the white skinned melons with the green insides.

Merlin is very discerning of the melon family. And do you think he'll eat watermelon? No.

Yes, definitely Honeydew...Green. Cantaloupe is orange.

but

It was a pretty good birthday I guess.
I was able to spend time with my mother, sister, and two of my daughters (my oldest girl moved out of state so I couldn't see her).
My youngest daughter got me a cake. :-)

Curse that wretched Google! It assured me that was a cantaloupe cake, but of course, my familiarity with melons is found wanting.

Let that serve as a cautionary tale to all you younguns out there. Don't believe everything you read online -- unless you read it here at SS, of course.

Sorry about the cake, Cindy -- looks like Z got it right, though.

I've got a short in the series section,
Love trouble on family game night,
my feature is still in limbo, I posted it two weeks ago :( not sure if I did something wrong, or if because it is 155 pages its just a tough read or what. Not sure if I should ask don about it or wait longer... & I need to take phil's advice and trim the one I already have up here.
I think I just need to start writing something new.
