I think that this one will be different from all the previous zombie flicks. If you are interested to read the script then you can read it here:World War Z

The script is written by J. Michael Straczynski the same guy who wrote Changeling for Eastwood.

Planning to have a read over Christmas, though if you are selling it I am not sure that the script for The Changeling is a good shop window. While superbly directed and acted I thought the script was really poor, It is such an amazing story that it is surprising that it escaped Hollywood's attention for all this time but he could have done so much better with it, there was very little suspense in what should really have been a suspense filled story. Not impressed with the script at all to be honest, without Eastwood and Jolie this would be a pretty ordinary film.

I mentioned The Changeling because is the most recent work he has done, and the interesting thing here is that the script of World War Z is totally different from The Changeling. I thought that's interesting. Going from one point to the other one.

Also you could check an interview here.

I've been meaning to read the book for a while but for some reason I never got around to it. I finished the script last night though (thanks for the link, Nik) and I was impressed. I think that with the right budget this could be turned into a really good movie, since it has such an different angle than other Z movies.

The script in itself was a pretty good read as well, especially the scene with Gerry and the helicopter - that really took my breath away.

Not dead - not dead - not dead
