Yes indeedy.

Been approached to Produce a series of shorts for the marketing launch of a new magazine.

It's a mans magazine (UK) dealing with Art, Fashion, Films, Nightlife and Music.

They want to do some street theatre type stuff with men dressed as Chimps and intend to get on the local news. They want me to film the action and stick it on the internet and come up with some funny ideas showing the Chimps doing stuff.

I don't think they're looking for Shakespeare here, just funny stuff to use as viral videos based around that the areas the magazine focusses on.

i know some of you enjoy doing little shorts and thought you could come up with some ideas or even adapt exisitng ideas you may have.

I always thought the world doesn't have enough passion plays, performed by actors in chimpanzee outfits.

But that's just me.

Here's an idea.

A man's dressed as a chimp in confession.  He talks about having a flea problem, obsession with bananas and mating season.  And possible nudist issues in society.

A camera's placed in both booths.

Just an idea that's popped into my head.

Cheers for the suggestions guys.

The passion play idea might actually work, given the theme of the magazine.

The confession idea was a good one as well.

If anyone else has some bright ideas let me know.

So this will be a viral ad. chances are I would get to see it so what would I like to see?

How about a bunch of people in monkey suits scampering around the streets and copying, imitating the people around them.

It would be funny as all hell to see the reaction from people who are being mocked by someone in a big hairy monkey costume.

Maybe to make it even more interesting have one monkey carry around a big box of props and so say if someone is reading a paper or carry briefcase or push stroller, the monkey whips out the same prop and pass it to monkey who is mocking someone

Does this make sense?

*Chimp drops to knees*

"Damn you!  Damn you all to hell!  You blew it up!"

See what I did there?

I also wouldn't discount the comedic value of a break dancing monkey.

Some more good ideas there boys.

You know, it's funny. Just looking round Google for some material and came across this:

There's something strangely ironic about the fact that Monkeys have been in space before humans and were also cloned first.
