If you're planning to pitch a pilot script to a Broadcasting Network, what things do you recommend be included? I've researched for months and have read about making a pitch bible, including a logline, treatment, synopsis, and/or outline. But some sources say that certain things are used only for films, others claim that a synopsis and treatment are both the same thing, so you either include one or the other.

I have a huge binder filled with notes on how to write and pitch a script, so don't tell me to do my research. I have everything planned out to be written, I just need help in terms of organizing it. Any help would be appreciated.

It's generally a good idea to have included in a pitch:

-Introduction Letter
-Synopsis
-Logline
-Character Descriptions
-Possible Episode Descriptions
-Artwork (if your project is animated)
-Show similarities/Projected audience
-Style - is it a standalone type of series or is it episodic (meaning: is it a type of show that where you can watch the 100th episode and know what's going on like "X-files" or is it a progressive, episodic series like "Lost")
-Your bio/contact info

I hope that this helps a little bit.

Thanks ctoph.

I already had most of those things. Just haven't written up an intro letter and can't believe I forgot style.
