Something really cool is on the horizon from Tim Burton and I'm not talking about Alice in Wonderland.

Shane Acker, who directed Wanted has teamed up with Tim Burton for a new animated, feature-length adaptation of Shane Acker's short film of the same name. Although CGI, the movie will have a stylized look resembling stop motion which Tim Burton called "hauntingly beautiful".

Oh my good I want to see this movie so badly. If only there was more original creations like this to see at the cinema. This movie looks superb

Not really a HUGE Tim Burton fan, but... that looks AWESOME! I'll see it in theaters.

This is based on a short film, also called 9 that Ackers made and was nominated for an Oscar a few years ago....

Well, I just don't see the stylized stop-motion Burton raves about. Looks like pure CGI to me.

It looks very good though. I'll definitely watch it.
