I watched "Punisher War Zone" the other day because it was recommended as a fun, tongue-in-cheek shoot 'em up by a friend.  I was ultimately disappointed with it, feeling the director/writers really missed the mark.

I came to find out that Kurt Sutter, the creator of "The Shield", had written a gritty spec script that they eventually trashed for a more comic book/cartoony feel.

I would love to get my hands on Sutter's script, but I don't know if it's even out there, as I haven't been able to find any signs of it.  Anyone know where (or if) I could find it?

The original Punisher was the best. Dolph was/is/will always be the best Punisher. I liked how the ditched his get up for a more honest approach at what a "REAL" vigilante would be and wear.  Also, the skull was present in that version, it was just etched into his 5 0'clock shadow...

I'm probably the only guy who actually liked the Jonathan Hensleigh version.
