Not sure if this is what you were going for, but it definitely reminded me of this:

I bet it won't even show where I live. Disappointment... I will have to acquire a copy though, this looks absolutely shite.

I think the poster is actually kind of cool...except for the lame title and the fact that everything is horribly unscaled...

Will have to check it out!

A movie that comes out in less than two weeks without a trailer? I think they know it's bad or else they would be pimping this hard.

The pictures released (all two of them) can pass.

Any of these straight to DVD monster movies that come out seemingly every few months any good?

From the movie:

I saw that too but it looks unfinished (I hope)

If that is true, the shark loses.

The other video I found was a real life version of these creatures and the Octopus won easily.

I wonder which one we're supposed to sympathize with.  I mean, in all VS. films, they usually make it so you feel more for one than the other.

With Freddy vs. Jason it was Jason...

With Alien vs. Predator it was Predator...

I'm gonna go with the octopus on this one.

I think that, in about two weeks, we should have a special Skype chat just to discuss this stinkburger.

I have a copy of this film. I will post about it later on today.

I just finished this and it is...um....wow, it sure is something.  From the title you get exactly what you would expect from a low budget sci fi starring lorenzo lamas.  The acting is quite something, and the writing, with lines like "don't love the water, it doesn't love you back" and "I'm an equal opportunist racist" and the much loved "noooooooooooooo!"  It aint well made, it aint well written or directed, but it aint boring.  Also I have know idea what was going on with the editor on this, there were a lot of weird cuts and transitions, anyways you get what you expect from  Mega Shark vs. Giant Octopus, it's bad, but in a fun way.

Bear in mind that the company responsible for this flick -- The Asylum -- are also responsible for campy rip-off classics such as:

The Terminators

Transmorphers: Fall of Man
http://www.theasylum.cc/product.php?id=156

Alien Vs Hunter
http://www.theasylum.cc/product.php?id=137

The Da Vinci Treasure
http://www.theasylum.cc/product.php?id=119

Death Racers
http://www.theasylum.cc/product.php?id=147

Pirates of Treasure Island
http://www.theasylum.cc/product.php?id=117

18 Year Old Virgin
http://www.theasylum.cc/product.php?id=151

Snakes on a Train
http://www.theasylum.cc/product.php?id=120

Allan Quatermain and the Temple of Skulls
http://www.theasylum.cc/product.php?id=143

And many, many more.

It's a real pity to see actors like Lance Henriksen, Dedee Pfieffer, and Marc Dacascos become involved in such bottom-shelf B-movies.

How these guys aren't getting sued, I have no idea...

Oh, this production company! I've heard about these guys, but never seen any of their films. They must be doing okay, they have made so many.

Yep, looks like someone's buying into them.  I checked out one or two their trailers and my immediate thoughts are... "No."  ;D

I remember when Deborah Gibson was Debbie Gibson, back in the late 80's. she was like the britany spears of her time, except some of her songs were ok.

I just finished watching this movie and wow is it bad.

Not even remotely entertaining. Terrible Monsters, bad ending, silly light effects instead of showing the monsters attack.

The highlight was when the Shark jumps out of the water and takes out an airplane.

I have "The Terminators" movie from Asylum to watch next as well as Uwe Boll's Far Cry.

Good luck. When you get back from throwing up and trying to overdose I'll be here to say "Why? What were you thinking?" and point you towards the next disaster "The Terminators" made by the same company as this... If I call it a film is that an insult to film?

Ha ha ha that's not fair though. You have to watch the whole thing. Kind of like the tape from The Ring. I should watch this soon...Maybe wait until my friends from Houston leave so I don't make their stay here extremely terrible.

It looks so bad it might be good...I guess.

I admire any film where the lady scientist solves the central problem of the film by having sex in a broom closet with her male counterpart.

"It's pheromones!"

Isn't that how it's normally done?

Maybe Debbie Gibson can make enough to pay her back rent...

Guy #1: I looked into it's eyes

Guy #2 : What'd it look like?

He had better have said  "...lifeless eyes, black eyes, like a doll's eye." otherwise I would be sadly disappointed.
