Though I found the beginning quite vulgar, I really did enjoy the rest of the film. A nice lesson of universal peace and a special mention to Rob Schneider. And for the first time, Mariah Carey didn't suck!

I can't begin to explain how much I hated that film. One of the worst I've ever wasted my time on, and that includes Uwe Boll's "masterpieces".

This film is proof that everything Apatow touches doesn't turn to gold.

Sorry Michel, I thought this film was a pile of shit. It was shit in the form of visual images :) I started working on a script straight after I watched it because it gave me hope...

I don't like Adam Sandler, so I was a bit biased when I went into this one. The movie was every bit as stupid and unfunny as it's ridiculous concept. Don't feel bad for liking it though Michel. To each his own.

Call me crazy, but I liked it. It is very stupid, but for some reason I found it funny. Again, call me crazy

No one should ever criticize someone else for liking a certain movie. Everyone has their own taste. Hell, I mildly enjoyed a couple of Uwe Boll's earlier films. So what?

I'm still horrified that Adam Sandler still puts out these crappy comedies. I figured he would've gone the dramatic route like Robin Williams and Jim Carey.

That's true. But can anyone believe it got 100 M here in the States?

Funny People looks like a drama all the way. From what I recall, the only part in the trailer that made me laugh was Jonah hill saying "I think he went to hell"

Spanglish was incredible. Even 40 First Dates showed that Sandler can act.
It's a shame he has to resort to crap.

Spanglish ... Urgh disgusting. I saw it with my girlfriend when it came out, and the only reason we were able to stay in the cinema the whole time is because we were kissing. If I was with my dad or a mate or something, I would have walked out.

Much to the dismay of your dad or a mate or something.....

Yeah, I probably would have got an earful after they came out of the film at it's completion. :)

Watch 'Reign Over Me' Phil. Very good dramatic film which seriously reminded me that Sandler could act.

Some parts of "Click" were very serious too, and very well acted (most of the parts in the future)
