A film based on the life of Brian Epstein is in the works, it has been revealed.

The legendary Beatles manager will be the focus of "A Life In The Day", which has been written by Tony Gottelson.

It will be produced by US filmmaker David Permut, who hopes to license music from the Fab Four to feature in the movie. The movie should focus on the Beatles' debut.

Yeah, I'd read about this on the Beatles fan site I hang out on. It's been mooted for years this story, with Jude Law playing Brian.

That title is interestiing cos it was gonna be a possible title for my expanded Mal Evans script.

The timing is cool too - Brian died on August 27, 1967.
