I joined SS two and a half years ago.

During that period of time, I have had some ups and downs and lack of time that has kept me away from the things I love doing, mainly writing.

I would l like to say though, that every single time I revisited the SS sight, it actually helped to rekindle my inspiration and motivation required to get me back on track.

The members and of course " Don" are the most supportive group of writers and the likes that I have come across.

So this is a thanks to SS.

And we're NOT the rudest people on earth like someone insinuated once.

Elis is right. I won't say enough how much progress I made ever since I'm here back in 2006. And I'm still learning. It's the proof that we're all able to do it... ;)

I would agree with this - I had not written anything for seven years. I joined on the 18th August, still with no feeling that the end of this drought was never going to end. I thought the OWC might inspire me to get writing again.

On the 25th I wrote my first piece in seven years. The next day I wrote my second. And I have since completed a third.

All in less than two weeks. I really do think that some of the thanks for this has to go to this site and this Forum. Coming here, reading scripts, posting comments (which have been generally well received), and interacting with the other members here (who, by and large, seem a friendly group of creative people united by a common love of screenwriting) has played no small part in reigniting my creative juices.

I wish I'd joined it a long time ago!

I would just like to say here - I may be repeating this, but it stands saying again - that the quality of the writing here is really of a very high standard.

Stories like "Your Golden Years Await", "Rid of Guilt", "12 Seconds" and "The Key" trilogy, plus many, many more, are often exceptionally well written and deserve the praise they receive.

I have read produced screenplays that aren't as interesting as some of the scripts I have read here.

I completely agree and to work with the minds on this site is at once a privilege and also very humbling.

Currently I'm reading George's book, The Fempiror Chronicles and after working with him on the WIP, Love and Fresh Air, I feel like I'm even more so able to feel inside the mind of a great man.

My desire is to prepare a review and commentary for the book and also the sublime feelings I'm getting from within the words within the book itself.

SS is living and breathing inspiration and connection with some very beautiful people.
