I watched yesterday a 1976 movie which was one of the first Jodie Foster 's film and I studied her character. She's very near of one of my characters. I want to expose now that I wans't wrong to treat her that way.  It's been done 30 years ago and I think kiiids today are much more mature they were at this time.

Two years ago I submitted my first horror script called "Incantations". The main character is an anorexic 13 year-old little girl who lives most of her time alone her father been away often for work.  I had two reviewers then and the main critic was my character's age

Anyway "The little girl who lives down the lane" is a very good movie where, once again, Martin Sheen proves he can plays hidious character. Give it a try. You won't be disappointed...

Hmm...one of Foster's first films? Sounds interesting enough to check out.

God, I remember this film. Very good. Sheen plays a slimy pedophile if I recall correctly.

The tagline for the film was along the lines of: "Ask no questions, and she'll tell no lies. Ask too many, and somebody..."

I will have to see if I can find it on DVD now that you've reminded me of it. It is one of Foster's lesser known films, possibly because she made Taxi Driver and Bugsy Malone in the same year and they overshadowed it. I read somewhere that she did not have a very happy experience making it.
