Hello everyone,

Thought I'd test the waters here at SS and drop in a post. My name is Chris and I've been writing on and off for roughly 15 years (nearly half my life) I've always been good at creating unique storylines, but only recently have I had the ability to organize my thoughts into something serious.

My first attempt at a screenplay came 10 years ago, long before I knew how to write one. Recently I've been inspired to give it another shot and I'm in the process of writing my first "real" script. I jumped onto SS when I noticed the cache of unproduced scripts, and reading through them has helped inspire & motivate me in writing my own story. Hopefully, the forums will add to that experience.

Looking forward to chatting and exchanging advice/ideas with you all!

I know water gets you wet, Sandra, but I didn't know it got you wet.

Erm. Is it me or has it just got hot in here?

NJDevil / Chris

As you can no doubt see threads sometimes take tangents whilst flirting takes place. I for one encourage it by casting dubious posts mentioning it.

Anyways, welcome to the boards and hope it works out well for you.

And you two, yes you, be pure, be vigilant and behave.

Thanks everyone. I do enjoy a good tangent; I can be very stream-of-consciousness myself (sometimes my tangents/ramblings actually make sense!)

Someone will have to explain why Sandra responds to "water" so alertly :P

I'm sure the young lady we'll be here herself soon to explain all. Alongside Sniper I'll be waiting with bated breath...

Jayrex is right. Actually if you listen to 'Me' and a few others you won't too far wrong. Old skool dude, they know the score and they know the craic. For those lost at this point Wiki and Google may enlighten.

Sandra  Elstree

I'm gonna keep bumping this, and knowing the mods round here they'll let me, until you come clean about 'the waters'. I for one am almost frothing in my jacuzzi to know what you meant. If only I could keep my Cuban cigars dry...

Please enlighten us mere dry mortals do....

EDIT: Sniper has just flew in from Denmark, amongst the talk of air miles and cigar fog he mentioned that we should stick around as YOU PROMISED! I said now, knowing her as I do, and I do know her a little at least, she will tell. She has to.

At that point he dropped his bathrobe to shouts of dismay from all then proceeded to jump in the tub. Being a polite creature I kept my dismay to myself. However, he is fairly handy with a phrase. What did he say? He said "Sandra will tell us what we need to know. However, it may not be as we expect..."

At the present, it is timely to say that the waters, Mem, are relevant. It's relevancy is for you to decide and make discernments upon. There are many kinds of waters within water and yes, it's very wet.

With that, I must go and have a bath.

Welcome Chris.

As a newbie myself, I have found this site informative and if you're serious; constructive.

My first posting was a disaster (Posted the wrong Doc) how bad is that?

Still managed to get constructive comments.

PS

I read just about everything.

My reviews are still a little limited and only ever constructive.

When I,m good enough to pull someone elses work apart, I will.

Look forward to reading your scripts.

And there she be. Beloved Rendevous blesses me with a name. He told me what I needed to know.

Teacher? Student? It matters not. Everyone learns from someone, who learned it from someone else.

I hope to learn from all of you. Eventually, newbies like malcolm and myself will pass this knowledge on to the next generation... perhaps they will be amphibious... perhaps not.

Thank you Dear One and I wait to learn from you - a blessing for sure.

All S. S. -

a blessing most certain.
