This looks pretty good.

I hear it may go straight to DVD in early October, and this film has been in the works for a few years now.

Honestly, it doesn't look that good to me, though I appreciate the attempt at a new, original Horror movie in a crappy era of remakes, adaptations and spin-offs.

Just FYI, the film wasn't "in the works" for several years now. It was scheduled for a theatrical release in October of LAST YEAR -- it was finished and shelved for some reason until now. I have no clue why.

I'll watch it for the sake of the Horror, but I'm not holding my breath for something amazing. I hate Anna Paquin.

Yeah, I remember it was supposed to be out last year. Looks interesting. Love the name.

No one really know why it's been held off.  Some think that it's because it breaks the #1 horror rule and shows a bunch of bad stuff with kids.  Others think that the studio just didn't have the guts to release it, period.

All I know is that for the past couple of years, they've shown this to sold out crowds at special events (like Butt-Numb-A-thon), and the responses have been overwhelmingly positive.   In fact, I doubt I've heard a bad thing about it.

Looks very awesome! I don't watch horror films, but I might give this baby a go.

I hope it goes to the cinema before DVD.

It's a combination between both of them. The studio would've had a hell of a time getting that past the MPAA, so they left it as a straight-to-DVD.

It's a real shame, though. Like that movie wouldn't be able to make $12 million at the box office...

I've heard GREAT things about this movie. Bloody-disgusting.com called it the best Halloween-themed horror film since, well, "Halloween". Can't wait to pick this up.
