I only realised yesterday that I have now been on SS for a month. It seems a lot longer than that, but I only joined on 18th August.

My original reason for registering was to enter the OWC, but ironically, that was the one thing I haven't done.

I have posted, so far, over 150 times, have written four shorts after so long not writing anything, and have come to feel really at home here. I think registering was one of the best things I have ever done. Previously, the most important date in my writing life was 22nd September 1988 - which is when I began to write seriously for the first time. Now this date has been added to it, and may prove to be even more significant.

I wonder what the next month will bring...

Take a look at the calendar.  You can find it on the buttons at the top of the page.

I wonder what the next month will bring...for me!!!

I want to work on a feature - move up from shorts. I have not written a full length script for 10 years. That's the next thing to aim for. And, I'd also like the give the next OWC a go.

I am also a recent recruit to SS.

Strangely enough however, I am the opposite. Most of my stuff is around a 100 or so pages. I have just sent in my first short at around 30 pages. Can't wait to see how it's received.

When it shows up I'll give it a read. If I don't - drop me a PM and remind me that I promised!

The beautiful thing in life is its uncertainty.
