Believe the negative reviews. They really blew it with this one.

So much potential and such a crappy outcome.  4 screenwriters, based on a cool graphic novel, Kate Beckinsale, and Antartica as a backdrop.  What could go wrong?  Everything.

Dialogue is awful.  Scene selection is boring.  Camera work is poor.  Plot is dull and the twist is no surprise.  Finale comes 20 minutes before the end and is filmed in a blizzard, so you can't see anything and have no clue who's who, when it's ultra important that you do.

For all its faults, it's really not a terrible movie, in the way that you laugh out loud, or roll your eyes continually, but it's a definte miss, and I'm shocked it was released without some major overhauls.  Biggest problem is that it's not sure what it really is and the trailer itself makes that perfectly clear.

Big disappointment overall.

I watched it last week.

Of the few films I've seen this year, this one ranks the lowest, but that does not mean terrible in my book.

I agree that it could have been better in many ways. I never really felt any tension/thrills and that was probably the biggest disappointment to me. I still don't think it was an awful movie, but not good enough to recommend either.  :)
