I looked but all I could find was reviews of the remake script, not the script itself.

What are your thoughts, by the way, on the remake in general? Do we really need it?

That's what I'm trying to figure out, Matt. The original worked due to the cold war climate in the 80s so I'm interested in seeing what kind of spin they put on this one it in order to make the scenario even remotely plausible.

On a personal note, after playing Modern Warfare 2, I got a major boner on for Red Dawn. Childish, right?

Do we need it? No, I don't think we do. The original was a cheesy teen action flick that fit its time back in the 80s but I don't see this one working in the present political climate. But what are you gonna do? It's already in post-production.

I have no idea. All I Have is COD on Wii. I don't have the hand-eye co-ordination to get past the first level. Maybe you can teach me one day.

On the movie front, I guess they can make it relevant with the war in Iraq and Afghanistan and what not. It'll be interesting to see what they come up with.

I've been trying to find the remake script too.  I'm a huge fan of the original Red Dawn and I'm just cringing about the remake because I know that they are just going to mess it all up.

Why can't Hollywood leave well enough alone?  They need to stop doing remakes and come up with original scripts.

If you find the script, please let me know and I'll let you know if I find it. Thanks...

Both scripts must be somewhere online, because they used to be on SaveTheCat, here - http://savethecat.informe.com/red-dawn-script-dt2485.html - but the links are now gone. :/

Surely someone managed to download them before they were deleted, though...?
