Hi.

I have found an agent but they want me to have a formal critique of my work. Is this legit? They're sending me a contract with a referral. Theyre called the wl screenplay agency.

The way I understand it is as long as they don't ask for money up front, it's a good start. After that, your guess is better than mine.

They're very well known around here and other writing websites.

If you give me $50, I'll come to your house and kick you in the balls.  It'd be about the same result as allowing them to rep you, only cheaper.

Not trying to belittle your work, but the Screenplay Agency has yet to find a script that it didn't like.  People have purposely submitted bad scripts to them, trying to get a rejection letter.

No one is rejected.

Someone once sent them a purposely bad script about a lonely ice cube that would melt a little each time it fell in love.  The agency loved it.
