Adaptation Challenge - Print Topic

Hey guys,

I've had two of my stories adapted into scripts here on Simplyscripts and both have turned out to be the some of the best stuff my name's attached too. All the scripts I write receive similar reviews. "You've got interesting idea's, but the writing itself brings it down." That's generally what feedback the majority of my scripts produce. However, when I group my ideas with a more talented writers writing, the reviews have been extremely positive.

I've got a really cool, creepy story brewing in the pot and I'm more than willing to let a writer here turn it into their own script. So if you wanna write but are having trouble getting together a story... I've got one! Anybody interested?

Well Jeff, it's basically this. I have a ton of cool ideas in my head and I can never seem to put them down into a successful script. So I've decided to try letting others take my stories and turn them into their own screenplays. I've already done this twice, "Fatherly Love" and "Daemon", and both have turned out pretty great. I've got another on of my stories in being adapted now, but I've got a ton of really interesting ideas if you are interested in giving it a shot.

Very interesting choice splatter boy. But if i were you i will never give my ideas i will try really hard to improve my writing........ I am just curious why you offer your ideas?

In the other hand its nice feeling when you have to offer something.

My name will still be on the script Dimitris. I'll just get the story credits. I want to be a director, so I like having others adapt my ideas into their own script. Not saying I'll be filming all the scripts people write based on my ideas...

Wow, I got a lot of takers on this. I don't wanna become overwhelmed, so could a moderator lock this thread for awhile. Don't want to overwhelm myself.
