Being from Manchester and being very young during the last days of World Of Sport, I thought I'd give this a read. For the most part this was quite authentic, funny in parts and was well written.

However, I don't know if it was due to the format but I struggled to finish this, It became a bit of a slog after the half way point, and seemed to take a while to wind up to not much of a payoff.

Overall though for the most part I enjoyed it.

Manchester? Bloody dump. Ya awlright? We know where you live. Behave.

Sorry. Being silly. Love Mancland. Who wouldn't?

Hence my reason for reading this.

I hate Word files. Loathe them. Won't stop me opening but it's a bad start. I ain't a great fan of Adobe either. But pdfs are the best of a bad bunch.

Wot's all this obsession with directing the film? I thought the story would be more important to a story teller. Call me old fashioned. Call me Sharon if you like.

Last script I read on SS was similar. There's a lot going on here. A lot to like. But there's a hell of lot to dislike.

Read some Kurtz, , Me (the Swedish one, not the mad Michael), Dogglebe, and the likes of Sniper and everyone I rate whose name escapes me at the mo. At least I'm not doing a nervous shout out on the radio.

You'll get the idea.

thanks for the comments. it is definately too long (not once have i managed to go through it in one sit down!). think a character needs to be cut entirely.

Jomarsamoo,

Sorry. Sarky mood. Frankly disappointing tonight, I am.

I'd lose way more than just a character, if I were you. Cut it to double page digits. Treble just puts people way off. Way off.

And lose most if not all that camera stuff.

Then you should get some reads. And being here a while I know reads are what's wanted. It's not just chewing the fat and shouting. And moaning. And waxing lyrical etc. All that's fun but it's SimplyScripts. Nowt else.
