I was just reading a review for this over at Coming Attractions and was wondering if anyone has it. If so please email it to NightSlash53@yahoo.com. Thanks in advance!

I don't get it. I thought the second film flopped horribly. Why would they make a sequel? Not like I'm complaining though -- I enjoyed both of the previous films.

Anyhow, I don't have the script but I am curious to read it too.

It didn't do well with critics, but it made money and has a large enough fan base to warrant a 3rd film. I enjoyed the other two movies as well. Can't wait to see this one. And I want the script too!

Actually, it didn't even make half of its budget back during its U.S run and it only grossed 115 million dollars worldwide on a budget of 105 million. Hardly a profit, if any at all.

Even its predecessor, Pitch Black, was only a moderate success (commercially). Which is why I find it hard to believe that a third movie is to be produced. I heard the videogames did pretty good though. Maybe they're using them for leverage.

It more than made its money back with DVD sales.

Fair enough. Either way, I hope it gets made.

The third movie is being produced independently by Vin Diesel and David Twohy, and is supposed to be more in the vein of Pitch Black than Chronicles of Riddick, and much darker and more violent.
