After spending the last six months or so hanging around the SS site and forum I thought I'd de-lurk, so-to-speak.

I'm an English citizen, now living in Christchurch, New Zealand. We are just entering summer now. The weather doesn't know it though...

Ah, now, a bit more about me. Forty-something graduate of Victoria University of Wellington (NZ) in 1997. Currently working as a liquor store Duty Manager full time. Have written first drafts of two features ("Sadie"; "Blood Ties of Dee") and one 44min episode for the latter - "Awake". Am currently working on an American drama feature. One day I hope to sell a script (or otherwise earn an income from them) - but I am not holding by breath for that to happen.

Just gotta keep on writing and hopefully my skill levels improve and that winning script will flow-out  of me and gets successfuly pitched... Just last week I uploaded a copy of Sadie to SS. Waiting to see if it gets online. Would love to read people's comments. Even though it is only a rough first draft  ;D (you should have seen the original draft!) I sort of like it. I found it a useful exercise in learning formatting etc.
