Am halfway through this debut novel by Adam Baker, and it's great!

Basically an end of world scenario, with the skeleton crew on an Arctic ocean oil rig being isolated after a virus overwhelms civilization. What I've does hint at a zombie type thing but not the traditional setup.

It's good because there's no time wasting with the breakdown of society - it's all revealed through the crew seeing news reports and stuff.

When I've finished - which won't take long as I love it - I'll write more.

Will be surprised if it's not optioned though there was a b movie of same name in 2008

It's funny how there is always an association now between zombies and the end of the world now. Can't have one without the other, or at least all zombie outbreaks involve the end.

Glad you posted this, now I am reminded to start reading your zombie script. I had forgot, after reading the beginning.
