Hi guys,

we are looking for low budget screenplays, features mostly but if you have a great short go ahead and send it over.

We would like to shoot something this year.

Just add a short synopsis of it.

Hi Pedro,

There are tons of short films here worthy of production, and more than few features as well. Can you give us a little more information about you - company name, website, where you're located, approximately how low budget is low budget, etc.?

Thanks,

Anthony

Hi Tony,

Pedro Chaves, you can check me on imdb for all the info.

Located in Belgium.

Low budget means very low budget, ergo something you can shoot without spending millions, and can shoot quickly.

So no huge explosions or scenes with 2000 extras. Think of something like Clerks, Lock Stock and two smoking barrels,.... and so on...

Put a link of the screenplays in this forum if you have something or see something worth while, no emails please, we get a lot of emails already, so it will be impossible to follow back.

Thanks,

Pedro

Looks like Pedro's been busy.

Quite an impressive resume.   Definitely a shoestring budget.

Pedro,

I have a few features that could be done on a low budget.  A link to my website is located in my signature below.

Reiki looks pretty creative and ambitious, based on description. Good luck Pedro, keep up the good work!

Thanks Pedro - your work does seem impressive so good luck with it.

What the heck - I have two people mulling this one over but it's taking too long:

Just a note that I'm posting it here because Pedro did not want e-mails. I don't expect anyone else to read it and comment.

From my sig, I would suggest The Art of Persuasion. I changed the ending to a more  serious tone but everything from the beginning to the end still remains the same. I like this version though. :)

Sorry guys, Pedro is a Porguese guy and I will talk to him in portugue language. What will say to him is that I have lot of short scripts to him whether he wish to take.

That's bullcrap!  I speak a little Brazilian-Portuguese myself and what Helio actually said was "Hello, Pedro.  How are you, friend?  CindyLKeller's, Mr. Ripley's, wonka's, ajr's, and Shelton's stories are all horrible and cliched and don't bother with them.  My stuff's awesome!"

Shame, shame, Helio.  :-)

Haha!
Dear Mark, in fact, what I said to Pedro was that all short script from you (God's Empty Acre, Ginger, A FewWill Find This Difficult, 2911.21, But You Can Learn To Play) are writen in Old English, Aramaic, Old Latin and Hebrew only. ;-D
