Trailer doesn't look too bad.

Hope it doesn't pull a BATTLE: L.A. or SKYLINE on us.

I love how the ads say "based on the classic game" though...

What about this is reminiscent of putting plastic ships on a grid and then sticking colored pegs in them?

There's a flash moment right at 1:59 - 2:00 where multiple projectiles lodge into the side of the battleship and will likely detonate in unison.

Pegs in ships.

Maybe if this turns out well someone will put Risk, Stratego and Monotony into screenplay format!

What would be fun is to put Uno into script!
A reverse card changes an opponent's gender, orientation or disposition.

Maybe since the collapse of Halo video games to movies will become passe.

I call dibs on the Hungry Hungry Hippos script!

Actually, that's not a half bad idea...

In all of your spare time, right?

LOL!

I'm slapping the first cornball around here that suggests making a board game into a screenplay for a OWC!

I'd take Clue and just re-write Johnathan Lynn's 1985 script. Granted, the script probably wasn't nearly as funny as the movie itself, but when you let Tim Curry off the leash, he was amazing in it.

And, speaking of Battleship (so I can have something on topic), there's a small portion of the script that had the right idea for what could've made Battleship not bad.

**USUAL SPOILER TAGS AND... STUFF**

The aliens strike Hong Kong, then the Chinese get pissed at the Americans and think they were the ones responsible so we come to the brink of war that way. Instead, that plot line is pretty much forgotten and it reverts back to the aliens.

this trailer seemed incredibly hokey. dare i say, it felt like a transformers knock off.

I love the idea of classic board games as movies.  Snakes and Ladders, Sorry, Life, Monopoly, Operation, but... I think Mousetrap would be the best!  That game was the bomb.
