Very nice, Breanne. And after reading your Nichols script from last year(I think that's the one I read), not at all surprised!

Breanne,
This is wonderful news! The idea of "revenge" really stirs questions in my mind because it truly is an awful thing since it perpetuates throughout history like a bad virus.
I just recently watched Punisher, the 2004 version and really enjoyed it-- not for the killing in it, but for the human elements that came through as The Punisher wound up hitching up with the three (kinduv) misfit/societal cast offs. At least that is how I saw them. And to me, I really understand that the concept of "family" is not merely a genetic one, but something on a deeper level. If you've seen the movie, you'll know what I'm talking about, if not, what I said is probably clear as mud; however, suffice to say: When you have strangers sitting down to a meal and the air around them is warm, (regardless of the situation at hand) then this is "family".

Thanks, everyone!
I’m incredibly excited right now. This script was also a quarterfinalist in the Nicholl Fellowship, so it was mind blowing to see it do so well in another major contest.
I truly appreciate the recognition. Thank you. :)

Breanne,
I can't believe I missed this one... congrats. I'm pretty excited for you. Hopefully one day will cross paths in Rome.
Again, great to hear.

I guess its half congratulations (on getting the honourable mention) and hard luck (for not getting a podium finish) but either way, well done, Breanne.
Any plans to post it here?

Thanks!
Sandra,
We apparently posted at the same time and I missed your message initially. Yes, I’ve seen the version of The Punisher you’re talking about. I tried to approach the subject of revenge in a fresh way.
Ghostie,
I would love to meet you in Rome someday. :)
Col,
Maybe at a later time but, for now, no. Right now, I’m concentrating on my next script, which is going to kill. ;D
Thanks, everyone. :)
