I have a planned out modern day homage to the Twilight Zone, and i have no clue how long it should be.  I don't necessarily know if I'm gonna write it with Tv act breaks, but i want it to be the same length.  anyone know where i can find one?  havent found anything good.

The old shows, and I've seen most if not all of them, are 30 minutes. Isn't that all you really need to know? And actually, with commercials, they're probably less than 25 minutes. There's an opening scene; Rod Serling's into; I think 3 commercial breaks; then after the closing image, more Rod Serling remarks. Not counting the Serling remarks, maybe the script is 22 or 23 minutes, I would guess.

Post it when you're done. I love Twilight Zone!

I wrote a short last summer that was inspired by a TZ episode. The one where the old guy and his dog die and end up on the road to heaven and hell. But I wasn't trying to write something I thought would be produced, so I wasn't trying to fit if for a half hour show. I think it was about 12 pages or something. I wrote it for fun.

My mom likes that one, too. I never could stand it. It's all about The Midnight Sun, Will the Real Martian Please Stand Up? and The Silence... =)

it's "loosely" inspired by the Twilight Zone, like I'd picture someone reading it and saying "that felt like a Twilight zone"

thanks for the link ledbetter
