Thought I would share this with anyone who hasn't seen it.  Empire Magazine have brought together a selection of the best TED talks given by writers, directors etc.  Very informative, inspirational and two hours well spent.

Forgive my ignorance my friend but...

What does TED stand for?

I'll watch it tonight if I can finish the script I'm polishing right now.

TED means Technology, Entertainment and Design.
They invite movers and shakers in those industries to give a presentation or speech on various aspects of their involvement.  http://www.TED.com is the main page where you can find all sorts of really cool presentations.
Empire has put together six taht have been given by people in the film industry - Cameron and Abrahams' are particulary good.

I dig the J. J. Abrams one...

Very insightful about the man as a producer...
How he works the room while entertaining the listener.

I can see why he gets people excited about working with him...
Hence soooooo many projects he gets off the ground.

Mystery box!
