I just awoken after a bout of vivid hallucinations of strange figures limping towards me. One figure was crouched, its legs and arms all spread out wide, like a spider. I thought it was my mother in disguise, wearing a cloak to cover herself up. I kept muttering 'mummy' and then woke up to see the figure transformed into a bloody wooden table. I get this occasionally, once or twice every fortnights and finally tonight I had enough and researched on Sleep Paralysis and narcolepsy. This seems to be interesting and reading other people's eccentric dreams helps me realize I am not the only one. Is there any others 'suffering' from this disorder or want to share their dreams? I just wonder if this helps create ideas to put towards scriptwriting.

Thanks.
David.

(P.S- going to start removing hanging objects that would obstruct my view that could possibly give a sense of overwhelming danger and creepiness, like that coat hanging on my wardrobe!)

I've never had dreams like that but you should write them down :)

When I saw 'Sleep Paralysis' I thought ...what a good title. :) Was ready to read!

I suffered from sleep paralysis for a while and it was terrifying. I would wake up convinced someone was standing over me and I was unable to move or speak.
I'm sure there's a movie idea there somewhere.

Technically, the final scene of the Nip/Tuck season 2 finale did that. Great sequence, by the way. =)
