Is it just me or did something change on the site. I must have missed the announcement or something.

When I open scripts now, ones in PDF format, it opens it within the browser window and it won't let me scroll through each page, I usually have to use the arrow keys or it'll shoot past the pages. Was it always like this? I remember it opening Preview (on my Mac) for pdf scripts.

Maybe it's something on my end, but it seems that it just happened recently.

I always thought that was controlled by your browser under options>programs.  It tells the browser what to do with specific files.  Not sure about a MAC though, but perhaps your Safari has had an upgrade?

On my ancient Vista laptop running Firefox version 3.7.17 - no probs at all.

Maybe your Mac has been infected with that Trojan which has been on the news recently?

Probably just a browser update and it doesn't handle PDF's that well. Just do a right-click and save the file on your computer. Then you can read it with whatever.

I always right-click on the links and "Save Link As..." (Mac / firefox) or "Save File As..." (PC / Firfox), double-clicking on the resulting file to open it in Adobe Reader.  Reader ALWAYS handles pdf better than browsers.

Of course, that works better when your HDD actually HAS free space :/

It would open in Preview before, by itself. Now I have to do an extra step to get it open in Preview. Just an annoyance.
