Hello all,
I was wanting to do a flashback in a feature that I am working on though only want a quick flashback of a pic for a second or two.
Can you please let me know the best way of handling this.
Do I need a slug line in the flashback ?
Regards Alex

You can handle Flashbacks in a number of ways, but whatever way you choose, it helps to use standard format and write it in a way that is clear to the reader/viewer.
Method A:
BEGIN FLASHBACK:
EXT. WOODS - NIGHT
A wolf gnaws on human remains.
END FLASHBACK.
Method B:
INSERT - PHOTO

In Blackout, I had lots of those. I simply did this.
QUICK FLASH
The naked dead woman in the shower.
BACK TO SCENE
Harley squirms in his seat. Sweat beads on his forehead.

Thanks Eion and Pia,
Both look good though Pia's method probably suits my situation better as I just want a simple and quick flashback.
Thanks Alex
